My lovely mum was diagnosed with dementia in 2020. Gosh what a journey, so many steps behind it all the way. So many stages and forms. A rollercoaster of worry and loss. Careers, lock boxes, alarms etc Then you find a company that cares. One that understands in order to have breaks and normalcy you need people who genuinely care and step up. For my family Daffodil provided my mum with company and me with updates. I could know that not for meds or nursing care, someone was visiting my lonely mum with fish and chips, a sandwich or taking her out. Daffodil provides more than care there is a need for someone to see a face and engage in conversation.". What a team! Absolutely brilliant level of communication, organisation and care. Can’t recommend highly enough. Manager Jo organised care for my elderly mother in law at late notice and was so responsive to changes required as her needs changed. Jo was superb at selecting the perfect carer for this particular client… Vicky. Vicky knew exactly how to manage her needs and her personality. Both Jo and Vicky went above and beyond in every way for our family and made the last few months of this lady s life the most comfortable and supported that they could possibly have been. Superb.
Daffodil Home Help is the most amazing little company. Joanne who runs this very personal support service hand picks and trains her team. The level of care, love and support is like having another member of the family. Everything is personalised to suit your loved one with calm patience and expert care.
Daffodil enhanced my Dad's life beyond words and when he was poorly Joanne was with him and knew something was wrong and acted immediately with care and compassion. I cannot recommend Joanne and her team highly enough, there's just not enough words. My gratitude will last my lifetime 💗

The ladies of daffodil look after my elderly parents everyday for a couple of hours. They are simply wonderful .... we feel as though we have struck gold. I can’t tell you the relief it is for me knowing they are well looked after and cared for ...... oh and my mum thinks she has her own personal chef lol xx

Jo was chatting about things at my mums and what she’s doing for her gorgeous ladies and gents, she moved me to tears that she is so beyond thoughtful and wonderful, yet she can’t even see it!! She truly is a diamond to anyone she is in contact with. She needs to be cherished!!
